16 Pictures of Sims to Describe Your College Experience

As my senior year approaches its end (wait, what?!), I have done a lot of reflecting on my time at the U and college life in general. I have also developed a crippling addiction to The Sims while avoiding my problems, so while brainstorming ideas for blog posts, I couldn’t help but combine the two ideas.

1. Finding the perfect group costume with your squad for Halloween:

Dibs on #leftshark.

2. Realizing you’re gaining weight from all your late-night Mesa runs and hitting the Rec for the first time:

Wait, I have to move my legs on the treadmill? Seems like a lot of work.

3. Trying to get your grades up after midterms:

Help, I’ve fallen and now I’m… drowning? Yeah, seems about right.

4. Successfully cooking without burning something for the first time:

Ahh, so you add the water BEFORE putting the Easy Mac in the microwave.

5. Running out of Flexdine and being so hungry you’ll eat literally anything:

Ok, maybe not a toddler.

6. Going home for Thanksgiving and getting asked where your life is going by your relatives:

I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT I’M EATING FOR LUNCH TOMORROW, AUNT JAN. GO AWAY.

7. Walking out of a final you know you failed:

Feels bad, man.

8. And the subsequent eating of takeout in the bathtub because you’ve lost control of your life:

Bring some wine with you and you’ve got yourself an ideal night in.

9. Moving into your first apartment and trying to figure out how to pay bills:

Sorry, I don’t remember signing up for this.

10. Overhearing your roommates talking smack about you behind your back:

Wanna say that to my face?

11. Trying to come up with good qualities about yourself for your Tinder profile:

What are my passions…? Um, does taking naps count?

12. And constantly third wheeling with your best friend and their significant other:

Don’t mind me, guys.

13. Seriously, how is everyone from high school in a relationship/engaged/having children?!

I’ll just be over here with my imaginary boyfriend.

14. Remembering there are only a few weeks left of the semester:

YAAAAAAASSSSSSSS.

15. But then remembering those few weeks will be spent in a panicked frenzy trying to pass your classes:

EVERYTHING IS FINE.

16. Finally going home for break feeling pretty certain you’ve lost your soul:

SERIOUSLY, I’M FINE.
